About Us
My name is Barry Ritchie. Together with my wife Shiona we have many years experience of supporting people with special needs,learning disabilities and mental health difficulties.
I have been working in the post of support worker since 1999 with a leading provider in Scotland and have played a leading part in helping people to move out of hospital care into their own homes
and communities.
My wife Shiona has gained her HNC in social care and has also worked supporting people for many years.
We set up BSR Spain supported holidays because our past experiences of trying to help people with difficulties access suitable holidays has proven extremely difficult and demonstrated a real need for this type of resource. We also believe that a holiday in the sun is very beneficial and can aid recovery.
San Miguel De Salinas was chosen as our family has been visiting this area for several years. During this time we have made many friends locally and we are very familiar with the surrounding area.
We respect social,cultural,religious,and ethnic diversity and offer our service to both young and old.
We are proud that our work to date has had a positive effect on the lives of the people we have supported to have a holiday in the sun.
